Birth doula

Birth doulas support women and families who are planning all kinds of birth, from planned caesarean birth or early epidural to home water birth. I am passionate about empowering women to have the birth they want, whatever that may look like. A doula does not necessarily replace a birth partner, but works to support you both and create a strong birth team.

  • We will have 3 x 2hr tailored prenatal sessions - see birth preparation sessions for what this covers.

  • On call everyday 24/7 from 38 weeks of your pregnancy until your baby is born

  • I will be available and present at whatever point you feel you need me throughout your labour and birth and in the immediate hours afterwards

  • Unlimited support via email or phone throughout - answering any queries and providing evidence-based information 

  • Two postnatal visits at home to reflect on your birth, give practical help and support and provide information 


You will also have access to my extensive library on pregnancy and birth as well as ongoing text/email/phone support throughout your pregnancy.
